Dr. Panayiotis Kyzas
Professor Panayiotis Kyzas is a world-renowned Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial / Head & Neck Surgeon. He specialises in Head and Neck Oncological Surgery, microvascular free tissue transfer, 3D printer-guided personalised surgery (PSP), laser surgery, facial aesthetics, facial trauma, and salivary gland disease. Originally from Paralimni, Cyprus, he built an exceptional career in the UK before relocating to Cyprus. He is Editor in Chief of the British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (BJOMS) and Chief Investigator of the MANTRA trial — the largest randomised controlled trial ever performed in his specialty, with multimillion-pound NIHR funding. In 2021, he received the prestigious Bronze National Clinical Excellence Award — the youngest consultant and only Cypriot OMFS surgeon ever to receive this honour.
