- Continued his training as a Pulmonologist at the Hospital of Thoracic Diseases of Athens “SOTIRIA”, where he served in all the prescribed medical grades of Pulmonology.
- Obtained his PhD at the University of Athens.
- He was Chairman of the Scientific Council for 10 years and Director of the Pulmonology Clinic for 22 years.
- In addition, he worked for one year at the Asthma and Allergy Research Unit of the Hospital St. Bartholomeus London.
Experience
- Worked as a Curator at the Hospital “SOTIRIA” (1980-1988).
- Also, gained international experience as a Researcher at the St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London (1988-1989).
- Subsequently, served as Director of the Pulmonology Clinic (1996-2007) and as Attending Physician (1988-1996).
- Finally, actively assumed the role of Coordinator and Director of the Pulmonology Clinic at SOTIRIA Hospital (2007-2017).

- Researched the topic “HLA and lung cancer” for his thesis.
- Published in important Greek and international medical journals.
- Actively participates in lectures, round tables, conferences, symposiums and seminars.
