Dr. Marios Agathangelou
Dr. Marios Agathangelou was born in Nicosia in 1979 and grew up in Paphos. Since 2016, he has been practicing Interventional Radiology in Cyprus.
As an Interventional Radiologist, he has a particular interest and expertise in percutaneous interventional vascular procedures, such as angioplasty and stenting in peripheral artery disease. At the same time, he has been trained in the technique of embolization of uterine fibroids, varicose veins, and chemoembolization of liver cancer. In addition, he specializes in the most modern and minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of varicose veins.
It is also worth noting that he specializes in percutaneous thermal ablation of thyroid nodules using radiofrequency (RF), a technique that offers significant advantages for patients.

Dr. Marios Agathangelou has acquired significant academic training, holding a Master’s Degree in Interventional Radiology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In addition, he completed his specialization at the same university, as well as at the Georgios Gennimatas General Hospital.
At the same time, he has specialized in Interventional Radiology at the N.N.A. (Naval Hospital of Athens) and holds the corresponding title of specialization. In addition, he is a graduate of the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace.
