Initially, she served in the Public Service in both Greece and Cyprus, holding various positions of responsibility. In addition, she served for many years as scientific coordinator of the Mental Health Services Department at Paphos General Hospital. Then, starting in 2015, she was the Director of the Athalassa Psychiatric Hospital (ΨΝΑ), where she took on some big initiatives to improve the services they offer.
At the same time, she was responsible for the training program for psychiatry residents, contributing significantly to the development of new professionals in the field. She also coordinated the training program for students at the University of Cyprus Medical School and Saint George Medical School UNIC at the University of Nicosia, where she holds the title of Honorary Associate Professor.
