Dr. Pallis Georgios was born and raised in Kyperounda. He graduated from Apeiteio High School in Agros, in 2004 with an “Excellent” grade, and then completed his military duties, for two years, serving as an army cadet officer in the National Guard. He was discharged with the rank of Reserve Second Lieutenant in 2006. In the same year, he began his studies at the Medicine Department of Demokritio University of Thrace, from where he graduated in 2012, receiving a scholarship throughout his studies. Within the context of obtaining the Cardiology title, from January 2013 he worked as a resident doctor in Internal Medicine at the General Hospital’s Internal Medicine Department of Crete for two years. During this period, he was trained in Emergency Prehospital Medicine, for one year, from the National Centre of Immediate Assistance of Greece, obtaining a relevant certificate after written and oral examinations. Furthermore, he completed his practice as a resident cardiologist at the Cardiology Departments of Agios Nicolaos’ General Hospital in Crete and Limassol’s General Hospital, for 4 years. During this period, he was part of the Cardiac Surgery Department team, of the Nicosia General Hospital, for 3 months. Comparable with his specialisation in Cardiology, during 2015-2016, he provided his services at Limassol Agapis Clinic, as a volunteer doctor. After successfully participating in the written and oral examinations of the Hellenic Medical Association, he obtained the title of Cardiologist Specialist in March 2020. From April 2020 until January 2022, he worked as a Cardiologist Specialist at the Cardiology Department of Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus. From February 2023 until today, Dr. Georgios Pallis is operating as a Cardiologist Specialist within GESY at MEDICA Medical Centre, where in a friendly, modern and fully equipped environment, provides personalised services concerning the entire range of prevention, diagnosis and monitoring of heart diseases. In particular, an electrocardiogram, transthoracic ultrasound of the heart – echo, a fatigue test on a carpet, a holter recording of rhythm and pressure are being provided.
