Dr. Evangelos Ionas
Dr. Evangelos Ionas is a Gastroenterologist with expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology, and a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. He graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School and completed his gastroenterology training at “G. Gennimatas” General Hospital of Athens. He also holds an MSc in Biostatistics from the University of Athens. He has had clinical observerships at Addenbrooke’s Hospital (Cambridge, UK) and Fulda Klinikum (Germany). He moved to Cyprus in 2023 and has been working at the German Medical Institute since June 2023, performing upper GI endoscopies, colonoscopies, and managing complex gastrointestinal conditions.
