Dr. Andreas Photiades
Dr. Andreas Photiades was born and raised in Larnaca. He graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Medical School in 2015 and completed his residency in Respiratory and Pulmonary Medicine at the 7th Respiratory Department and Asthma Centre, “Sotiria” Athens Chest Hospital. He has a special interest in Interventional Pulmonology, having successfully completed the European Respiratory Society Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) training programme. During the COVID-19 pandemic he managed numerous hospitalised and post-COVID patients. He previously served as Head of the Interventional Pulmonology Unit at Limassol General Hospital before joining GMI in March 2023.
