Dr. Andreas Filis
Dr. Andreas Filis is a highly trained Neurosurgeon with international expertise spanning Germany and the United States. He completed his neurosurgical training at the University Hospitals of Göttingen and Erlangen in Germany, where he also earned his doctoral degree (Dr. med.) on the trigeminocardiac reflex in transsphenoidal surgery. He subsequently completed three clinical fellowships in the USA — in neurosurgical oncology, spine surgery, and skull base surgery — at Moffitt Cancer Center and Louisiana State University. He is also a research associate with the Neurosurgical Department of the University Hospital of Dresden. Since 2023, he serves as Head of Neurosurgery at the German Medical Institute in Limassol.
