Dr. Anastasia Paraskeva
Anastasia Paraskeva was born in Athens and grew up with two Cypriot parents, both doctors by profession, who instilled in her a deep love for medicine and service to others. She collaborates with her twin sister, Dr. Eleni Paraskeva, who is also an Obstetrician–Gynecologist. She graduated with distinction from the Medical School of Athens and obtained a second degree in Business Administration with a full scholarship for all academic years at Deree College.
She completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology after excelling in the entrance examinations under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of Cyprus and received her Specialist Title from the University Hospital of Alexandroupolis (Democritus University of Thrace). She is a PhD candidate at Frederick University and also holds a Master’s degree.
She collaborates with the University of Cyprus as a Special Scientist for the courses of Anatomy and Obstetrics–Gynecology in the Medical School and is a scientific associate of the St. George’s University (University of Nicosia Medical School). She has trained numerous resident doctors and medical students. Additionally, she is a certified instructor for the European programs ALSO (Acute Life Support in Obstetrics) and ALSG (Acute Life Support in Gynecology).
