Dr. Alexandra Papoudou Mpai
Dr Alexandra Papoudou-Bai is a Pathologist and elected Assistant Professor with more than 10 years of diagnostic and academic experience, specializing in Hematopathology – the diagnosis of lymphomas, leukemias, and diseases of the lymphoid and hematopoietic system. She received advanced training in diagnostic techniques, including flow cytometry and FISH, at the renowned Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. Her doctoral thesis, for which she was awarded a scholarship by the Empirikos Foundation, focused on cell cycle regulation and apoptosis in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. She has 104 publications in peer-reviewed international scientific journals, 1,766 citations, an H-index of 25, and more than 107 presentations at international conferences. She joined the German Medical Institute in September 2024.
