Dr Nicholas Apostolou started his educational career in Nicosia:
- 1995-2002: The Grammar School Nicosia.
- 2004-2010. Charles University He graduated from Charles Charles Charles Medical School in Prague and obtained the MUDr. (Doctor of General Medicine).
- 2005-2009: Alongside his studies, he worked as an assistant at the Institute of Anatomy of the same faculty.
He did an internship in the following departments:
- General Surgery at Apollonion Hospital (Nicosia)
- Internal Pathology in U Nemocnice (Prague)
- Obstetrics – Gynaecology in Apolinářská 18 (Prague)
Retraining & Clinical Specialization
Dr. Apostolou continued his scientific career with rich clinical experience and specialized trainings:
- 2012-2018. He worked as a neurosurgeon at the Klinikum Chemnitz from 2012. In 2012, he worked at the Klinikum Klinikum Neurology, under the guidance of Prof. Steinmeier R. Steinmeier.
- 2015: attended specialized training in Peripheral Nerve Surgery at the Specialized in Specialized Training in Neurological Neurology at the University of Ulm.
- 2016: consultant in Electrophysiological Assessments of Peripheral Nerves, also at the University of Ulm, with Prof. Dr. Antoniadis G.
- 2015-2018: Trained in Paediatric Neurosurgery at He was educated in Paediatrics at Sankt Augustin 2015.
- 2021-2022: Special training in paediatric neurosurgery in Specialist training in Paediatric Surgery at the University Hospital of Leipzig Lipsnitz University of Leipzig, working with Prof. Krause M. and Prof. Meixensberger J., in cooperation with Prof. Krause M. and Prof. Meixensberger J.
