Dr. Mairi Panayidi
Dr. Mairi Panayidi is a Thoracic Surgeon specialising in Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery (VATS — Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery) and the full range of adult thoracic surgical procedures. She holds three postgraduate degrees with honours: MD from the University of Patras, MSc and PhD from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She completed her cardiothoracic surgery specialty at AHEPA Hospital in Thessaloniki and subsequently served as Chief Thoracic-Cardiac Surgeon at Pagni Hospital in Crete before joining the German Medical Institute in 2025. She has 3 peer-reviewed publications and is a member of the European Academy of Thoracic Surgeons (EACTS).
