Dr. Emmanouil Alevroudis
Dr. Emmanouil Alevroudis is a Nuclear Medicine Physician with specialist expertise in theranostics — the combined use of radioactive isotopes for diagnosis and treatment. He graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed his specialty training at the Ippokrateion General Hospital of Thessaloniki. He subsequently worked as an Academic Fellow at the “Attikon” University Hospital in Athens, where he led peptide receptor radioisotope treatments for neuroendocrine tumors and selective internal radiation therapies for liver neoplasms. He was included in the Greek Center of Excellence and Expertise for Neuroendocrine Tumors of the European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS). Since February 2022, he has been working at the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the German Medical Institute, specialising in the Radioisotope Application Chamber which offers the full spectrum of therapeutic Nuclear Medicine applications.
