Dr. Efstathios Papatsoutsos
Dr. Efstathios Papatsoutsos is a Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist and Head & Neck Surgeon with 14 years of training and practice in Germany. He graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed his ENT specialty training at the University Hospital of Magdeburg, Germany, where he also served as a Clinical Fellow in Otology, Neuro-otology, and Middle Ear Surgery. He holds a Doctoral thesis with Honours (magna cum laude) from Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg, an MSc in Surgical Sciences from the University of Edinburgh / Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and the Joint European Diploma of Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery (Université Paris Cité). He was a Cochlear Implant team lead in Magdeburg and a Consultant at Klinikum Dortmund — one of the largest hospitals in Dortmund — before joining GMI in October 2025. His special interests are otology/otologic surgery, endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery, and salivary gland diseases.
