Dr. Constantinos Zamboglou
About Dr. Constantinos Zamboglou, PhD, MHBA is the Vice Medical Director of the German Medical Institute in Limassol and a Radiation Oncologist with international academic renown. He studied medicine at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Germany, where he completed his doctoral thesis summa cum laude and obtained his Habilitation (Postdoctoral Lecture Qualification) in 2020. He has been a Consultant and Clinician Scientist at the Medical Center University of Freiburg and led its Interventional Radiation Oncology section and Prostate Cancer Research Group. He has over 100 peer-reviewed publications, has received more than €8 million in research funding for clinical trials and health-technology innovation, and was awarded the prestigious Herman-Holthusen Award of the German Society of Radiation Oncology (DEGRO) in 2020. He is an invited member of the German expert panel for prostate cancer and the ESTRO focus group for genito-urethral cancer. His research focuses on PSMA-PET guided radiotherapy, prostate cancer, radiomic imaging, and AI-based contouring.
