Dr. Konstantinos Marinos was born in Limassol and graduated from Lanition Lyceum A’ in 2004. He was then admitted to Thessaly’s Medical School in Larissa with a full scholarship from the Cyprus State Scholarship Foundation.
In 2012, after graduating from the Medical School, he started working at the Limassol General Hospital as an intern. His specialisation started at the General Hospital of Larissa in General Surgery in 2013 as part of the prerequisite time for Neurosurgery and then in 2015 he started Neurosurgery at the General Hospital of Nicosia until 2018. He completed his specialisation in Neurosurgery in 2019 at the 2nd University Neurosurgery Clinic of the Aristotle University at Thessaloniki’s Hippocrateion Hospital, where he obtained the title of Neurosurgeon of brain and spine. To this day, he maintains collaboration with the Second University Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for various research projects.
During his specialty, he worked for two months in Sydney, Australia, not only in specialised spine cases but also in other areas of Neurosurgery, at the Royal North Shore Hospital Sydney Australia.
In 2019 after successfully completing exams, he obtained the European Diploma in Neurosurgery from the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies EANS after a four-year training program in brain tumors, spinal diseases, functional neurosurgery, brain trauma and other neurosurgery diseases.
He is now based in Limassol, as he maintains a practice at 50 Pafos Street, in the new state-of-the-art Medica Medical Center. He is also cooperating with Nicosia Apollonion Hospital, and Nicosia Polyclinic for the treatment and surgical operations of patients as a Neurosurgeon contracted to GESY.
